CSR team partners with Al-Quds Secondary School to promote environmental awareness and action.
JEDDAH – As part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community engagement, Al-Ittihad Club’s CSR department participated in the “Better Environment” program in collaboration with Al-Quds Secondary School, in alignment with the GCC Environment Week.
The program, held under the supervision of student advisor Mr. Rami Omda, brought together a series of integrated initiatives aimed at promoting environmental awareness and encouraging sustainable behaviors among students.
Key activities included:
- Cleaning campaigns across school facilities and classrooms
- Community clean-up initiatives in public areas, including parks, the Corniche, and mosques
- Promoting water conservation practices
- Waste recycling initiatives
- Designing and publishing digital awareness materials to spread environmental knowledge
Students were divided into competitive groups to achieve the program’s objectives, creating an engaging environment that encouraged participation and responsibility.
The initiative played a key role in instilling environmentally conscious habits among students, while reinforcing the importance of collective action in protecting the environment.
The program concluded with an award ceremony, where winning students were recognized for their efforts and contributions.
This initiative reflects Al-Ittihad’s commitment to supporting community-driven programs that create lasting, positive impact.
